1. Acceptance
By using SwapNomads you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the platform.
2. What SwapNomads is
SwapNomads is a peer-to-peer platform that connects people who want to exchange their homes, vans, or rooms. We do not own, manage, or inspect any listed property. We are not a party to any exchange agreement between users.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SwapNomads to: share illegal content; harass, threaten, or defraud other users; impersonate another person; list properties you do not have the right to offer; use the platform for commercial rental activity.
4. User Content
You are solely responsible for all content you post, including listings, photos, and messages. SwapNomads does not monitor private conversations but reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts upon verified reports of violations.
5. Reporting
To report abusive content or users, contact us at abuse@swapnomads.com. We will review all reports and act within 72 hours.
6. Limitation of Liability
SwapNomads is not liable for: property damage during a swap; disputes between users; loss of belongings; personal injury. All exchanges are agreements between users. SwapNomads provides the platform only.
7. Vehicle Exchanges
SwapNomads does not act as an insurer or guarantor of any vehicle exchange. Users are solely responsible for verifying insurance coverage, driving licenses, and the legality of the exchange in their jurisdiction. The platform only facilitates communication and records agreements between users. SwapNomads does not mediate disputes and does not manage deposits or financial transactions between users.
8. Insurance Disclaimer
SwapNomads does not verify, validate, or guarantee any insurance policy declared by users. Users must independently confirm that their insurance policy covers third-party drivers and cross-border use before proceeding with any vehicle exchange. False declarations are the sole legal responsibility of the declaring user.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Verona, Italy.
